SOWAYBEYOND, Cinematic studio, exploring the edge, between reality, and imagination, AI Model Agency, Music Label

A detail shot of analog music equipment in Zed Parish's studio.

Zed Parish playing his beloved Billy Duffy signature Gretsch White Falcon.

"My creative process begins by tuning in; the music must first be channeled. My physical performance, playing a string, pressing a key, moving a real fader, is the vital act of capture. That human touch provides the emotional core, and crucially, is the only true guarantee of clean, defensible ownership."

The Sound of Certainty

Creating Original Soundtracks that are tactile, human, and legally distinct.

In a visual landscape increasingly defined by AI, the sound must provide the emotional core and a legally verifiable asset. The SOWAYBEYOND Music Label exists to produce Original Soundtracks (OSTs) that are composed, performed, and recorded exclusively by human artists. This guarantees the integrity of our cinematic worlds.

Our music is the work of musical director Zed Parish, who builds every score using a combination of analog synthesisers, electric and acoustic guitars (including a Gretsch White Falcon), and an SSL mixing console. The focus is on a tactile workflow, physically playing instruments, turning dials and pressing buttons that injects an undeniable warmth, texture, and technical fidelity into the final score.

  • Original Soundtracks: All output is a 100% human-composed Original Soundtrack (OST).
  • Defensible IP: All publishing is managed internally for absolute control and clean Intellectual Property.
  • Turnkey Scores: We deliver turnkey cinematic scores ready for films, campaigns, and immersive media.
  • Seamless Integration: Every track is engineered for seamless, emotive integration with our visual characters and worlds.

Human Sound. Real Instruments.

The Label Core

Every soundtrack released under SOWAYBEYOND is composed and recorded by hand. No AI music generation. No shortcuts. Each piece begins in the Zed Parish studio, a calm, intentional room built around tactile instruments, analogue synths, guitars and rhythm that define the emotional language of the label.

This human-authored music does more than set the mood. Once registered, each track anchors the visual work in real copyright, forming a complete and defensible IP structure unique to the studio.

Original Soundtrack Releases

Album artwork for Zebelle: Mirage.
"A haunting, tactile score featuring heavy, distorted bass designed to vibrate the room, overlaid with ghostly Gretsch White Falcon chords. Written as the soundtrack for the short film Cherry Zebelle: Mirage, it captures a dreamlike tension between classic Americana and surreal isolation."
Album artwork for Drawn to Distance.
"A transmission from somewhere else, like Morse code drifting through desert air. This slow-burning instrumental blends shimmering piano and vintage 808 rhythms with the unmistakable tone of the Gretsch White Falcon. Less a song, more a threshold—painting a world of fading headlights and solitary reflection."
